✪; Sebastian was happy to see the other so excited over the honeybun. He slung the duffel bag over his shoulder, following the other outside. “Stay close to me,” he ordered, letting the younger male lead him to the grocery store. Sebastian made sure no Walkers were around before grabbing Ciel’s wrist and rushing into the store. “Stay safe, yell if you need me,” he ruffled the bluenette’s hair affectionately before browsing around the store. He found the grill, shoving the box into the duffel bag along with a few cans of soup. He kept a close eye on Ciel, making sure the boy wasn’t getting into anything he shouldn’t be. Sebastian found the charcoal, adding it to his duffel bag. The store was large, but most of the shelves were empty. He browsed all of the aisles, finding a rather cute kitten plushie, and stuffing it into his duffel bag in memory of his own cat. His eyes widened when he came across a familiar container. It was a jar of Nutella, one of Sebastian’s favorite substances. “Ciel! Come here! I found something that you’d like!” he called out, laughing.
It wasn’t so bad living like this. Everything small was something to be happy over. However, Sebastian felt bad. This child would never get to graduate. He would never get to get a job or go to college, he would never experience true life. Nevertheless, he wanted Ciel to be happy. He wanted to see the boy smile more than anything else.
