✪; Sebastian had woken up rather early, his eyes blinking open to find the boy sleeping. He sat up and stretched, deciding to make breakfast. He wanted to help the other, sighing as he reluctantly left the male’s side. The man picked out what he could find that would be suitable, hoping that he would get to see Ciel’s smile when he let him have the manufactured sweet. He smiled when the other entered, utterly happy. “I am preparing a lovely breakfast of canned beef. You, my dear, also have a Honeybun accompanying the meat. I hope this is satisfying,” he replied, “You need to eat well before we go on our run today. If we get that grill, I will cook you the best meal you’ve ever had since this whole thing happened,”
Sebastian handed him the plate and chuckled, “You look like you slept well. Mm, can you imagine this beef hot? Imagine it steaming and delicious! Perhaps sometime we can go into the woods and hunt, that is, if it is safe.”
──♚── Ciel took his plate and nibbled on the pieces of canned beef as he thought about eating it hot. He hadn’t had a cooked meal in so long. His eyes lit up at the mention of the honeybun and he cracked a smile. “Really? I can have it?” Now he was excited. He picked up the pace with the beef, just because he was excited about that honeybun. Once he got it… oh. Ohh.. It was a little stale but oh so sweet and delicious. Just like that twinkie, he savored every bite until it was finally gone.
They talked for a while after that, getting dressed and ready for the run. Ciel’s ankle was feeling much much better today, so he was positive he’d be alright. After he was dressed and slipped his bookbag on, he found an old duffle bag and handed it to Sebastian. “Here. That can fit a lot of stuff in it, but I never used it because it gets too heavy. You shouldn’t have a problem though.” And with that, they slipped quietly out onto the street and walked in the direction of the store.
