✪; “You are a child. I am an adult. I can always get more supplies. It is safer if I do it than you. Especially with your ankle,” he paused, inspecting the skin carefully, running a light fingertip over the bones, “It’s slightly dislocated. Just a little, like when really young children get their arm yanked up and their elbow dislocates. It’s not serious, but I’m going to have to pop it back into place. It shouldn’t hurt. If I leave it like it is now, you’ll experience severe pain when you walk.” The man carefully placed his fingers on either side of the boy’s ankle, careful not to cause any more pain. With a slight pop, he pushed it back into place. Sebastian felt around Ciel’s ankle cautiously for any more possible abnormalties. He found none.
“There. Good as new. Thank you, Ciel. I appreciate this… I suppose it would be beneficial for us both to stay together. There are groups who would find this place, and if they manage to get in, they’d probably kill you. Horrible, isn’t it?” he opened the can with ease and pulled out a silver fork from his bag, “I am so lucky that I keep this fork with me!” Sebastian quickly scarfed down the pork and beans, grateful to the other. When he was done, he sat beside the male and handed him the canned fruit he had found. It felt good to be treated like this. His old group never shared food, well, not with him, at least. Sebastian felt completely at ease. Perhaps it was stupid to be so trusting so soon, but the raven haired male wanted this child to experience some kindness. He was so young and this world was so cruel. He couldn’t help but feel sympathetic towards the boy.
“When is the last time you’ve had fruit? I haven’t eaten in three days, so your pork and beans feels as if it is the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Thank you. No one has been this kind to me in years,” he replied with a soft smile.
