daemonum-corvum:

✪; He had never expected this. His own group abandoned him. They all knew he wasn’t likely to trust anyone. They knew that he was mainly a loner and that he could be harsh, cold, and emotionless. They knew about his life and how he lived alone, away from his family. They knew all of his secrets and his fears and they still left. Everyone left. Sebastian stared at the empty room, almost unable to comprehend what had just happened. He was travelling with a small group, scavenging and constantly moving to look for a better base. He had befriended them, and now he was left alone. Alone.

He couldn’t stand the silence. They had taken all of the supplies, leaving nothing for the raven haired man. They had even taken Sebastian’s beloved cat. This is what he deserved for trusting someone. He deserved this pain. He deserved it. Sebastian had a rife on him and a box of bullets for good measure, a machete on his hip, a backpack that contained two Twinkies, a Honeybun, a can of fruit, and one large bottle of water. It wasn’t anything he could live off of, so he set out to find more. His group had even taken his clothing. He would not allow himself to stay in that damn room with no noise, he needed to find another person, or he would surely go mad from the loneliness.

The raven haired man left the apartment building quickly, looking around for walkers and possible gun stores or grocery stores. He hadn’t been expecting to see anything until a hoard caught his eye. He watche for a while, trying to avoid them from afar. He could take them out and grab some food, couldn’t he? He couldn’t afford to lose any of his ammunition. He only truly reacted when he saw a figure on the ground. It wasn’t one of those things. It was a human. Another being. A small human, most likely a child. Sebastian would usually let the hoard eat whatever human was stuck so Sebastian could kill them off easily, but this was different. The man had a soft spot for children, and he was in a vulnerable state. He did the less sensible thing and ran towards the human, grabbing his machete and beheading the dead mindless things that were trying to feed. Sebastian was quick about it all, behaving like a beast to slaughter the undead. When he was finished, he stood still, his chest heaving, his body covered in the nasty blood.

Are you alright, kid?” he asked, turning around, his features softening, “Your ah, ankle… It looks a bit painful… I was a med student before this all went down, I was two years from graduating and becoming a doctor. Let me take you somewhere safe and help you. You really have no choice, you’re kind of stuck. I just can’t allow you to die because of something as stupid as your ankle. Now, do you have a safe place where you live? Are you with a group?” Sebastian was as calm as possible, hoping that the blue haired boy on the ground was not too afraid of him, even though Sebastian had just saved his life.

──♚── iel watched as the walkers stumbled closer and closer, reaching out their hands as they readied to feast on his flesh. He closed his eyes tight, preparing himself to feel his body torn apart. But instead, he felt a spray of blood and heard a thump as one of the walkers was beheaded. He opened one eye to see a tall, raven-haired man infront of him, fighting off the horde. One by one, the creatures fell to the ground. Speechless, the boy gazed up at his savior. He was skeptical at first, figuring the man only saved him to get to his backpack full of supplies.

"hank you...Ciel finally spoke up, clutching at the backpack like it was a baby. He tried to stand up again, but winced and fell back down to rub at his sprained ankle.Dammit.If only he’d been more careful about where he was stepping. Then he could have been back at the apartment by now. He really didn’t want to give away his location to a stranger, even if he did save his life. What if he just decided to kill him and take everything he had? It didn’t matter that he was a kid. People were ruthless nowadays. But if he didn’t, he would die anyway.

”live in the apartment building on Showalter Street.Ciel glanced in the direction of the street. It really wasn’t that far. There's no one else. It's just me. If you try anything funny, I will shoot you. I know I'm a kid but I've been living alone for a long time now and I do know how to use this gun.
