Alois turned his head quickly and peered around the dim room . He shivered for a moment when he felt a chill run from the root of his spine down his body. He was bare and vulnerable. His hair was a wild mess and his body marked with bruises and other forms of abuse. His body ached and he pained from his master’s advances.
But he could sense it…there was someone here. Something. It was dark and cold. He looked around the room, only slivers of light guiding his eyes. But he saw nothing but the sleeping man lingering on he large bed. Suddenly a rush of fear overcame him. The door was locked. He was not permitted to leave this room. And even after his master left, he would be trapped here. Would the spirit devour him? Or perhaps…this was the fairy he has summoned? Perhaps it was here to save him. And even if it was not…Alois was not prepared to die, not yet, he would fight.
Suddenly the voice floated toward his ears. He turned to the direction of it and saw nothing. But he was not hesitant. He stood tall despite his bare body and inability to protect himself. This was his chance for freedom. He was not scared…
He was eager.
“Hello?” He said softly, not out of fear of the creature but fear to wake his master. “Are you the fairy that I summoned?” He asked. He desired so greatly to see the being.
His eyes brightened when the proposal was given to him. “Everything?” The child beamed brightly, smiling, despite the pain that rain through his body. “You are my fairy!” He smiled with glee and clapped silently. “What price do you ask of me? I will pay if you grant my wishes.”
He hesitated for a moment. “May I see you?”
The little blond couldn’t see of course, but the demon grinned at being called a fairy. It was hard to imagine that only a century ago he was an ignorant human that knew nothing of the world too. The darkness swirled and curled around Alois, lapping at his skin and leaving a chill behind.
“Everything. And all it costs is your soul once you have all you desire.” The voice that seemingly emanated from all around the boy slowly shifted to a single point in the room. Soft steps could be heard on the wooden floor before finally, a boy, even smaller than Alois, stepped from the shadows. He was dressed in modern clothing, something an upperclass boy his age would wear. But those those eyes of his glowed an eerie blood red.
“If you accept, we’ll form a contract and I’ll do all that you wish no matter what it is.”
