QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER.
✕ - How they handle rejection
// This depends really. If Ciel is being rejected something material like sweets or something he wants, he would, calmly, at first, order for it to be given to him. And if that doesn’t work, he would get angrier with his commands, perhaps a little louder each subsequent time. There would EVENTUALLY come a point where he would see that shouting isn’t getting what he wanted, so he might pout and find various ways to ‘get revenge’ on the person denying him what he wanted. After all, Ciel is still a child, and children are very selfish.
As for rejection of love? Well first of all, I don’t believe Ciel would fall in love easily. As I stated, he’s selfish, and that gets in the way of a lot when it comes to caring for others. I think he could fall in love with Sebastian because he plays into that need for control and that selfishness. If he wants something, he can just order it from him and the demon can’t betray that order. There are instances where Sebastian can refuse or try to talk his way out of it under the whole “my opinion is that this certain thing won’t benefit, or might hurt you”. Ultimately, though, the demon gives him what he wants and protects him, so I could see Ciel falling in love with him.
If Ciel got to the point of falling in love though, and Sebastian rejected him, I think it would break Ciel. After opening himself up only to find out that the demon reserves no mutual feelings, I think that Ciel would lock himself up very tight. He might not outwardly show his turmoil. He might even just shrug it off, but I’m sure that inside he would question a lot of things. He would then probably proceed to make Sebastian’s life a living hell, just for cruelty’s sake
If Ciel happened to fall in love with someone other than Sebastian, and was rejected, I’m sure that he would feel upset and angry, but he would never show it outwardly. It would probably look as though he didn’t really care. Afterall, regular people get in the way of revenge and the work he does anyway, so maybe it’s for the better.
