Ever true to his word when it came to what he would do for Ciel, Sebastian did stay near by at all times. He was glad that the other didn’t need him though, and that he slept soundly. That was a good sign… Hopefully he would just sleep off whatever has plagued him, and everything would be fine in the morning.
When the time did in fact come, the demon began to head towards his young master’s bedroom door to awaken him. If he didn’t, it was sure enough that the young boy could sleep the day away if he wasn’t careful. Now, he couldn’t have that, now could he? How professional was that?
The butler gave a small knock to let him know he was entering, before pushing open the door. Usually, the boy was still asleep, but there were rare times in which he was actually awake, amazingly enough. Always best to test to see, after all. What he did see was rather… odd. It appeared that Ciel was awake but… what was he doing?
“Master, it’s not as if you can hide from the morning, you know~. Come along, time to get up,” he teases lightly, as he walks over, not at first sensing that there had been a strange change within the other. He began to tug away the sheets that he currently encased himself in.
Ciel’s eyes widened a little when Sebastian walked in, causing him to pull the covers tighter around himself. There was no way he could ever let Sebastian see him like this. A gasp escaped his lips when he began to tug at the covers.
“No! Stop!” Ciel cried out the order, but at the moment in time, it was too late. The cover had been pulled away from his head and there, protruding from the locks of ashen blue hair were two fluffy cat ears with fur the same color as his hair.
The ears laid back flat as he let out a groan and covered himself back up with the blanket, refusing to see Sebastian’s reaction.
