After Sebastian’s last scuffle with Elohim, he felt more compelled than ever to help out at the rehabilitation center. He worked specifically with Fallens, which took a lot of mental coaching. It helped him recover from his own mental and physical injuries much easier. He knew their brainwashing techniques uncomfortably well and so he knew how to better reverse the effects safely.
When Lucifer entered, he smiled at his old friend, but it soon faded at the news. “That’s troubling. There have been a lot more Fallens since that big incident a few weeks ago. I guess it was only a matter of time before they took action.” He said with a faint sigh. His ruddy brown eyes moved to Ciel before Lucifer even mentioned keeping a watch on him. The younger demon had already had an eventful life despite his young age. He was frozen in the body of a teenager, but he was almost nearly in his thirties by now. Soon, he would stop counting altogether, but that was centuries away. It was nice to watch him grow that way. To watch him go through the phases and thoughts all demons seemed to go through. “Thank you.” He said sincerely. “You two be careful, okay?”
Sebastian did his best to look cool and collected about the whole thing, but the old crow never handled threats well. He was boiling inside, surveying the area every few moments as if the agent was going to jump out from behind a plant or shelf and shout ‘SURPRISE!’.
Ciel listened to the news and took a step closer to Sebastian. He gazed up at him and could tell his lover was on edge. Stepping closer, he wrapped his arms around his waist and held onto him tightly.
“An agent? What do Elohim’s agents do?” Agents were, esentially, the creatures that Elohim created, but then decided were too horrible or dangerous to set loose on Earth. This one in particular never actually killed its targets, but rather, it misplaced them in time as a means to isolate them. This was especially effective on young demons because then one of Elohim’s angels could ‘save’ the lost soul.
“I’m sure everything will be fine. Lucifer and Kallen will take care of it, right? I’m not too worried.”
