Once the young master was served, Sebastian stood back, in case there was anything else that was needed of him, per usual. He watched the boy carefully, at first noticing how he seemed to hesitate at first. Wasn’t he hungry? How peculiar… The earl wasn’t one to normally be too picky… Much of a sweets person, sure, but he was good about eating real food too. For the most part.
The demon continued to watch his motions, a small frown on his features. Something just seemed… off, about the Earl… This was very strange behavior, for him. “Master, are you—?” he started to ask, when he first noticed his face having a bit of a flushed look to it. He didn’t get to finish though, since Ciel then moved to cover his mouth, which then it clicked. He was sick.
Sebastian moved quickly, going immediately to his side to look him over. Just from the distance they were now, he could tell that he was much warmer than he normally was…
“Well, I’m no doctor, but it appears we’re going to need one… By the looks of it, Master, you’ve gotten yourself sick…” he explains to him with a sigh. “Come along, allow me to take you up to your chamber.”
Ciel was definitely feeling rather ill, but it was unlike colds or other illnesses he’d had before. The boy was also rather itchy. What strange symptoms. He wanted to disagree and tell the other he was alright, but he just felt too bad to argue. With a nod, the boy stood from his seat and followed Sebastian slowly to his chambers.
Once there, he allowed Sebastian to undress him and slip him into his night clothes before he took a seat on the edge of the bed and sighed. “I suppose I worked too hard. Cancel any appointments in the morning.” He ordered his butler before finally crawling underneath the covers for the night.
