Three O'Clock {Closed w/ Sebastian}

Ciel jerked a little in his office chair as the nearby grandfather clock boomed three times to announce the hour.  He’d been progressively sinking further into the soft leather of the chair as his eyelids had grown heavy. It was three in the afternoon and due to some restless nights, he’d been finding this particular time of day difficult to remain awake during. He had work to do though. A pile of papers in front of him displayed that for sure.

With a soft sigh, he continued to write, but soon he found the pen had melted into a puddle in his hand and dispersed down onto desk, transforming into cute little truffles where they lay. Was this some strange magic? No. In reality, the young Earl’s eyelids had finally closed and he’d slumped over in his chair, fast asleep. The pen in his hand had escaped his loose grip and merely fell down onto the paper he’d been writing on, rather than actually turning to truffles. It did, however, leave a nice blotch of ink in the middle of the parchment.

It really was no wonder that the boy was falling asleep. Other than being excessively tired, the estate had been abnormally quiet and boring that day. There were no explosions or the sounds of shattering glass due to the clumsiness of the help. The only sounds were the ticking of the clock and the scribbling of pen on paper. Though, now that Ciel had fallen asleep in his chair, the scribbling had ceased leaving only the rhythmic ticks that lulled him deeper into his slumber.
